I am a 42 year old South African living in Birmingham. I came to the UK 12 years ago and have recently relocated to Birmingham from North London where I live with my daughter and our 2 dogs.

For many years I was a professional dancer and I hold an Honours degree in media and drama. I have taught drama and dance as a subject in schools as well as being a professional nanny for many years before I found my love for photography.

It was during a year living in and travelling around Thailand that I first realised my passion for capturing a moment in time. I have always found children fascinating to photograph. They are so uninhibited and free in their expressions of themselves that they really do tell their own stories so naturally.
I absolutely love what I do and I consider myself very lucky to be able to spend my time around babies, kids and the family units I encounter. I consider it an honour to be able to capture the love between my subjects.

I have a beautiful studio based in the Zellig building which is located in the iconic Custard Factory in Digbeth.
